Porn Review! Fluid: Men Redefining Sexuality

Rating: 4.5cocks (4 1/2 out of 5 cocks)

In Madison Young’s two-part documentary-meets-porn project, Fluid, she gives light to bi and queer women and men expressing their desires and sexuality on camera.  In one of the parts, Fluid: Men Redefining Sexuality, Young skips the confines of Bi, Gay, Twink/Bear, or fetish labels by opening a space to cisgender bi and queer men. There is a certain sexual authenticity of desire and communication that makes Fluid: Men so deeply enjoyable, not to mention hot and sexy!

Men, who are often relegated to a disembodied cock in most mainstream hetero porn, are shown full with their complexities in gender and sexual preferences.  The camera shots are full, giving the viewer a shot of body movements—not just genitals slapping together.  The passion, sex, and enjoyment are definitely real.

Fluid: Men follows three sets of men, interviewing two in each scene, about their sexuality and desires.  There is one woman per scene who comes in to spice things up. While cast did seem amateurish (which is not necessarily bad!) their presence and performance were great.  While many may want to skip over the interviews, give them a chance! I found the scenes much hotter when I knew a little more of the person’s desires behind the body.

In the first scene, Jack Hammer and Gabriel D’alessandro sandwich each other between each other and a beautiful woman.  In the second, Deviant Kade, a bisexual kinky sub, explores his fancy with other kink-minded partners in fluid exchange of sex, biting and being manhandled.

My favorite scene was the final one featuring Rose and Tommy Midas.  Both the guys identify as queer are ambiguous in their movements, speech, sexual acts, and so on.  The passion between them is electrifying!  The woman pictured plays a great role in mixing with the power dynamics and exchange.  Among all of the lovely and hot communication throughout all of the scenes, there’s quite a bit of bareback fucking, anal play, rimming, oral, and the occasional appearance of the Hitachi Magic Wand.  Yum!

I will say, however, as a lover of genderbending and queerity, the portrayal of male-male-female threesomes was… only part fluid.  The repetition of three parts MMF hook-up subscribes to the age-old “bi” archetype: When I have sex, I gotta have some cock and some pussy!  While this clearly wasn’t the intention, I did see it as a pattern and could therefore classify this as more of a “bi” movie than “queer.”

I would have enjoyed something more like CrashPad Series Episode 35: Mickey and Shawn, where there was more gender ambiguity and much more creative, fluid sexual play involved.  Moving from hand-jobs, mutual masturbation, blowjobs and sucking—all in a continuous stream of passion.  Also, adding some toys for the boys in Fluid would be lovely!

Criticism aside, Fluid: Men Redefining Sexuality gave me a huge mental boner, and something quite stiff in my pants as well.  Madison Young has made a well-awaited step into portraying queer cis male desires and passions.  Bravo!  I look forward to more upcoming projects.
